Social Counselling

The Counselling Service.

The counselling team provides telephone advice and the team comprises four social workers, all of whom have personal experience with physical disabilities.

While each individual is the expert of his or her own life, the counselling team has knowledge of the most important rules in relation to mobility disabilities. Because people are different, the assistance they are in need of also differs. Thus, the team assesses the need for assistance on a case-to-case basis. Through counselling, we support you in mastering your situation, and in confronting the public authorities.

Please, be aware that the counselling service only applies to members of DHF.

CALLING THE COUNCELLING SERVICE
If you need help from our counselling team, there are a few things you need to be aware of.

When you call our main number +45 39 29 35 55, you will first speak to an employee, who will ask for your name and phone number. Within a couple of days, the first social worker available will call you back. You should be aware that the call will be from a ‘hidden number’.

We strive to keep the response time as short as possible, however, we receive many enquiries from people, who need our assistance. We help our members in turn, and we hope that everyone will be understanding of the situation.
