About the association
The Danish Association of the Physically Disabled (DHF) has for almost a century worked for equal possibilities to all suffering a physical disability in Denmark.
DHF represents persons with physical disabilities in Denmark. This group represents between 320.000 and 350.000 persons in Denmark.
DHF is run by its 8.000 members and covers all of Denmark. It has 43 local branches, four specialised groups and headquarter in Taastrup.
Since 1925 we have fought for better living conditions for persons with disabilities (PWD's) in Denmark and abroad. We are a popular movement, not related to any political party. An interest group within disability policy made from ground level by persons with many kinds of physical disabilities.
You can see much more in the DHF statutes.
